No sense sugarcoating it, but Bofuri doesn't exactly have great animation, or much of it for that matter. Still, I find these episodes really fun just based on premise and material. Maple finding a secret boss and beating him to gain another skill will never not be funny, and just the ridiculousness of what she can manage to get doesn't really grow old. It's plain old fun, and the cuteness of Maple and the rest of her guild definitely help with that. Probably the "best" aspect of the anime though is the environment art, it's super pretty and well done, and is very noticeable with everywhere that they end up. Alongside that, I do really enjoy the little montages we've gotten in both episodes so far, the music for them is just right to make it feel fun and relaxing. There's really not a great deal to say with this series other than the fact that it's a fun watch in spite of it not having the absolute best quality out there. The only thing I think I might complain about is the pacing, though I've not read far enough into the novel to see whether it's just as fast there or if it's something specific to the anime.
